Storytime Sunday 2016

There were lots of families gathered at The Bright Emporium yesterday, for the first Storytime Sunday of 2016.

They were a brilliantly attentive bunch and very enthusiastic with the glitter. This is what we got up to, once I’d read them The Whopper. Thanks to everyone who attended and to Bright Emporium for hosting.

It was also great to meet the lovely Jo Byatt and her family (big thank you to Sienna and Monet for your fab drawings, which arrived home safely). Jo was there to promote her own illustrated sticker book project, written by Gemma Malley for Bookstart. Their session later that day went down a storm.

I also finally got to meet Penny Neville-Lee face to face, who came along with her little boy. Penny is an ‘illustrator and all round good egg  coiner and  creator’. I’ll be making an extra effort to take part in @Clr_Collective every week 😉
